“ Excellent first experience at Pizza Paradise Burnside! We decided to try a pizza from the newly opened Pizza Paradise. We ordered a traditional vegetarian pizza on line. The on-line system allowed us to remove mushrooms, which was good. The pizza was ready before they said it would be. The presentation was great, the taste was well balanced and delicious. The owner said that the restaurant would be opening in May 2024. The one improvement suggestion I would have for Pizza Paradise is to offer the choice of thin crust base, in addition to the standard base. I would be happy to enjoy their pizza another time. ”
“ Thank you to Pizza Paradise on Wairakei Road for serving up a freshly made pizza just after 1 am! I was pleasantly surprised to find a place open till 2 am, and even better, the service was good. There was only one person on, making and serving the pizzas and they handled it really well. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious - I am someone who usually leaves the crust behind but this time I ate every last bite. That says a lot! Highly recommend if you’re after a late-night feed with good service and fresh pizza. Will definitely be back next time I am in town. ”
“ I ordered a pizza and a can of Sprite online and wanted it delivered to the Hotel I was staying at (airport). I didn't want the pizza right away so I asked for it to be delivered an hour from order. I will say that I did use my personal phone number (US) as a way to contact me without thinking that they won't be able to reach me easily (this isn't why I gave 4 stars). I waited down in the lobby for my order and the delivery time came and went. I waited about 10 mins longer as I was at the airport but nothing. I went up to my room and called using the room phone. They were nice over the phone and apologize and got the order remade and told me 10-15 mins. I gave them info in what I was wearing and that I will be in the lobby so that they didn't need to try and reach me. After hanging up, I went back down to the lobby. 15 mins passed and again I'm thinking that it's the airport, it can easily be busy. Almost 30 mins went by and I see my order, but it was missing the Sprite. Turns out the delivery person dropped it as they got out of their car. They also parked illegally as their map didn't tell them there was a street that went to the front of the hotel. I thanked him for the pizza and told him that I understood about the Sprite and that he should get back to his car as to not get a ticket. I am disappointed about the Sprite as it was almost $3 NZ. The Pizza was amazing, so if I'm ever back in the city and with a car of my own, I'll definitely drive to this location and get another pizza! ”
